だらだらとなかなか終わりませんな。



さて、ライブも中盤に入ったところまででした。



7capo?の衝撃に続いては、Nickの歌う、Half a boy half a man。



これもいい曲なんですよね。ご機嫌なナンバー。

なんて、歌詞に特に意味はないけど（あるいはもの深い意味があるのかもしれないけど。）、フンフーン♪と作れちゃうぜ、っと思わせるようなメロディがいいね。

この曲の歌詞を検索しているときに、大ファンのNick Loweを見れてよかった、Ry Cooderはそれほど興味ないけど・・・（皆さん冷静にね。）、これはこれでなかなかディープな方だなぁ。と。

さて、つづいてはShrinking man

最新作らしい、是非、アルバムに入れてくれい。ただただギターを見とれるばかり。

このあと、もっとも会場が盛り上がりました。

「Across the borderline」で会場から歓声が！

87年の作品Get Rythmで取り上げられて、さらにＴＶ－ＣＭにも出た時代で思い入れが強い人が多いのでしょう。いい映像が落ちていたので貼り付けます。

私、当時10歳、RyのCMは記憶の片隅にもありません。（もしかして、頭の中に刷り込まれていたかもしれないが。）

Get Rythmは20歳前後はそれほど思い入れが深いアルバムでもなかった（古いのが好きだったもので・・・）

もちろん、Across the border lineは名曲です。それは十分に認めます。

会場の人の反応がいまいち理解できなかったけど、

生演奏で、聞いたこの曲は今までの印象をかえてくれました。

この曲でのボーカルが、一番好きですね。

力強くうたう他の曲（たとえばJesus on a mainline、13 question method）とは違った、Ryのボーカリストとしての魅力を再発見しました。

う、本当にしみじみした声、伴奏、コーラス、完璧な演奏です。

特に、今、アメリカとメキシコの国境が麻薬でかなり荒れていることもあったのかもしれません。

Ｒｙが歌うと妙に、死期を意識したように聞こえて寂しいですが、

Ry cooderが（もちろんNick Loweも）長生きしてほしいですな。
